Levitical Law and Homosexuality
Current mood: peaceful I have noticed a lot within the secular Gay-Pride movement, the "Gay Christian" Movement, and within liberalism in general, the trend of believing that Old Testament Levitical laws are no longer useful to us Christians in the 20th century and should be ignored all together. I am going to "pick on" two verses in Leviticus that explicitly spell out that homosexuality is indeed sinful behavior before a Holy God. Lev 18:22 (ESV): You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Lev 20:13 (ESV): If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. I just read a friend's blog concerning Levitical Laws... she seemed to be snidely implying that laws against homosexuality in Leviticus are along the same lines of off
